| Details: | The city of Philomath a surface water system in Benton County experienced a mechanical failure with a pump station this morning at approximately 6:00am. A faulty switch that was not working correctly and the booster pumps were still working but they were not working at the desired flow and pressure. 60 residences were affected and were notified of the boil water notice.
The city flushed the lines and took coliform samples. The affected residences will remain on the boil water notice until coliform results are non-detect.
Lifted 01/18/2024: Coliform samples were non-detect and the boil water notice has been lifted. |
