| Details: | On January 18th, 2024, Barlow Water issued a boil water advisory due to a low water event and anticipated coliform sampling. Due to the ice storm, lab testing was delayed and the special samples were submitted today. A public water notice was delivered to seven customers. Update 01/23/2024: Wicks Water Lab in The Dalles contacted NCPHD to inform us that the samples were absent for E. Coli but positive for Total Coliform. The operator is flushing the lines in that area and taking another special sample. NCPHD has determined to lift the advisory since E.Coli was absent and will notify the operator to communicate that to the residents. Lifted 01/24/2024: I left a voicemail to the operator and informed them that they could lift the advisory. I will attempt to contact them again again tomorrow. |
