| Details: | The city had a contractor damage a 2-inch dead-end water line causing two services to be on boil water notice due to loss of pressure one a residence and one barn (same owner). Staff are hanging notices on both services and speaking directly to the owner. A test for bacteria is planned today at the service to verify water quality after pressure has been restored. The state will be notified of coliform result and next steps. - M. Byrd Lifted 01/31/2024: All samples are negative for coliform. Residents have been notified and the boil water notice has been lifted. |
