| Details: | The reservoir experienced a drawndown event, leading to a loss of pressure in the distribution system. The cause has been identified and fixed. However, a water advisory is in place until the reservoir returns to normal levels, and pressure and chlorine residuals are restored. The water quality will also undergo sampling for safety. In the interim, they have supplied 60 cases of drinking water for residents, and a water hauler has been deployed to provide non-potable water.
Update 02/26/2024: The current pump is not functioning and the replacement is pending. The operator is installing a temporary pump to restore water pressure to distribution. The water advisory remains in effect. Lifted 03/27/2024: The water quality results are coliform-absent. The water advisory is lifted and the water is restored to the community. |
