| Details: | City of Salem Water Quality Supervisor notified DWS staff that due to an issue at the pumping station serving the S4 pressure zone there was a loss in distribution system pressure. The City has issued a limited/partial boil water advisory for homes in the south Salem area along Tuscana Ave, Milano Ave, Verona St., Evangelista St., Giovanni Ave, and Mildred Lane. The City is handing out door hangers for the affected homes and will be taking bacteria samples once pressure has been restored to the affected area. Lifted 04/04/2024: Pressure has been restored and total coliform and E. coli samples came back satisfactory. The City has lifted the boil water notice for the affected customers. |
