| Details: | A vehicle accident caused a power outage, and the alternate power supply did not kick on, resulting in power lost to the pump station. About 81 homes are in the pressure zone fed by that pump, but they only heard less than a dozen residents were briefly out of water. Salem will follow the best management practices and let us know when the advisory can be lifted. Lifted 05/21/2024: Coliform samples were clear, so the advisory was lifted this afternoon. Crews are distributing door hangers to inform affected residents. |
