| Details: | On June 17, 2024, DWS staff received communication from the City of Tigard regarding the issuance of a Partial Boil Advisory affecting approximately 1,731 residents and 1,657 service connections. That morning, a mechanical failure at a pump station caused a 40-minute loss of pressure in the Canterbury Hill area (Pressure Zone 530 –near SW McDonald Street and SW Pacific Highway). Affected customers were informed through the CodeRED Emergency Notification System (in both English and Spanish) and boil advisory details were posted on social media and the City Website (www.tigard-or.gov/water). Water samples were collected on June 17, 2024, after re-pressurizing and flushing the affected lines. Lifted 06/18/2024: Sample results, received on June 18, 2024, showed no presence of coliform bacteria, leading to the lifting of the boil advisory. |
