| Details: | As part of the new water systems plan review process, I discussed the water systems current water source. The current water source is untreated surface water from local unnamed creek. The facility has no approved surface water treatment (filtration or disinfection. The water system contact was noticed that the water served from the public water system would need to be boiled prior to any human consumption and public notice would need to be posted about the boil water advisory. Lifted 01/31/2025: On December 1, 2024, the water system capped the water supply line coming from the creek and switched over exclusively to using the new drilled well (L-148835) as their source of drinking water. Coliform results from samples collected on January 27, 2025, at the source and within the distribution system came back with no detection of total coliform bacteria. The boil water advisory was lifted on January 31, 2025. |
