| Details: | Received an alert for an arsenic sample result of 185 ppb from a sample collected on 6/24/24. The treatment system has failed. Advised Scott that all customers that have access to the drinking water must be notified that it should not be consumed. Other uses such as showering, laundry, washing dishes are still OK. Sent arsenic fact sheet. Scott will notify customers and provide an alternate source of water. The county environmental health specialist has consulted with Scott on how to continue operations of the restaurant. Lifted 01/09/2025: The treatment system was replaced and the most recent sample results were under the acute level for arsenic, allowing the advisory to be lifted. |
