| Details: | The water system had collected its routine coliform sample on July 10th. It tested present for total coliform bacteria. Three repeat samples and a triggered source sample were collected on 7/15/24. All 4 tested present for total coliform and one also tested present for E. coli. The water system was placed on a boil at 5pm on 7/17/24.
The water system has chlorination in place, however, the pump had gone out the week prior and the replacement has been on backorder. A second replacement pump was ordered and should be installed this weekend. System is hoping to get a good chlorine residual and pull samples for the lab on Monday 7/22. This report will be d as we get d information from the owner, Cody.
In the meantime, the residents were verbally told of the boil and were handed boil notices on 7/18/24. Lifted 08/09/2024: System has had treatment vendor onsite and noticed additional cleanout of water storage tanks needed. System also had an on-site inspection on 8/5/24 and no contamination sources were noted at the time of the investigation. |
