| Details: | The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board has issued a precautionary boil order due to system pressure lower than 20 PSI, as a result of twin 6-inch main breaks in the distribution system. The issue affected one service line on 1890 Waite Street, Waterfall Community Health Center. No eateries were affected. Customer was notified. The boil order will be lifted contingent on satisfactory results from 2 consecutive days of bacteriological sampling and confirmation of normal area chlorine residuals. Lifted 07/24/2024: After two consecutive samples showing absence of bacterial contamination, the boil water advisory for 1890 Waite Street was lifted today at 10 AM. No further actions needed at this time. |
