| Details: | 7/24/24 - Contacted operator who confirmed that the City has issued a system wide boil notice to its residents. A fire has caused the City to lose power, and a large leak was discovered, but has been repaired. The system is unable to chlorinate water due to damaged equipment. The boil notice will stay in effect until the system can resume disinfection and repair damaged infrastructure.
7/25/24 - Operator has repaired chlorinator and flushed distribution system. 3 bacteria samples were collected today, and 3 more will be collected tomorrow. A certified operator from City of Hood River is assisting with sample collection. Lifted 07/26/2024: Results are coliform-absence. Boil Water Advisory lifted |
