| Details: | The water systems storage reservoir drained and a major water line leak was discovered. Inland Plumbing was on-site repairing the leak. The system will pull samples once the leak is repaired and tank is refilling. At this time, it wasnt known if the issue was all from the line break or if there was also a well capacity issue. Update 08/13/2024: Leon Scheel with City of Umatilla called to let DWS know that he is hauling water to Power City due to production issues with their well. The well pump was replaced but only runs for about 5 minutes before the water level drops below the pump. The pump installer is working on a solution. Lifted 09/27/2024: The systems well has been back online (manuallY) since mid-September. The City of Umatilla hauled water for approximately 6 weeks (stopped in mid-September). |
