| Details: | The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board has issued a boil water advisory due to loss of pressure. The incident was the result of a 2-inch main break in the distribution system. Approximately 15 service connections affected in the area of Snedden Ln and House Ln, south of Coos Bay. No food service facilities affected. All affected customers have received direct notification. Repairs are expected to be completed by August 1, 2024, at 8:00 AM. Once repairs are completed, the boil advisory will be lifted contingent on satisfactory results from 2 consecutive days of bacteriological sampling and confirmation of normal area chlorine residuals. Lifted 07/31/2024: After two consecutive negative bacteria samples, the boil water advisory for Snedden and House Lanes was lifted today, at 10:00 AM. |
