| Details: | The water system was performing an operation in the distribution system and a major split formed in the 6" main. The system was unable to isolate the area and valved off at the storage tank. A boil notice was sent out on Friday while the system was identifying the correct valving. System anticipates being fully back online on Tuesday and taking coliform samples into the lab on Wednesday. Lifted 09/11/2024: Received results of coliform samples collected on 8/28/24 that showed absence of bacteria. Confirmed with Collin that the water tank is operating at normal levels, a consistent chlorine residual was present, and normal pressures are being maintained in the distribution system. This allows the boil advisory to be lifted. |
