| Details: | The City of Amity is issuing a boil water notice after the City lost pressure while replacing its waterline to the Citys reservoir. Issues at the water treatment plant in conjunction with a waterline break on Trade Street resulted in a loss of pressure throughout the system. the boil water notice shall remain in effect until all coliform results are non-detect.
The City will issue public notice when test results have been received and the boil water notice can be lifted. Lifted 09/20/2024: The City received the results from the water samples submitted on the afternoon of 9/19/24 and they were all negative for any contamination. The Boil Water Advisory was subsequently lifted as of 12:53 pm on Friday September 20th. |
