| Details: | Routine coliform taken 10/22/24 positive for E.coli and all three repeats and triggered source sample taken 10/23/24 also positive for total confirming E.coli. Spoke with operator Eric and sent him boil water public notice template to distribute asap. System will chlorinate well and reservoir, then flush system and take additional samples. Lifted 10/29/2024: Spoke with operator Eric and both follow up samples are TC absent. One was from distribution and one from the well source. He shocked the well and reservoir Thursday, flushed Friday, tested CL2 on Saturday but it was still 0.7, tested again Sunday and it was 0 mg/l. Took samples to the lab yesterday and both absent of bacteria. Boil water alert can be lifted as of 10:50 am 10/29/24. Eric will send me copy of PN and we tentatively scheduled a level 2 investigation for Wednesday 11/6 |
