| Details: | Routine and repeat coliform results indicated the presence of coliform bacteria in the system’s DIST, leading to a violation of the MCL for E. coli. System is informing all affected customers of the boil water advisory through email and phone notifications as required. Bottled water is being provided to at least 1 connection. Upon investigation, the system believes an automobile accident disrupted the functionality and operation of the chlorination system. The chlorinator has since been restored to operational status, and following flushing, a coliform sample will be collected. Lifted 11/20/2024: DWS Staff reached out to system for a boil advisory . System contact informed DWS Staff a sample collected on 11/20/2024 came back negative for coliform bacteria and the advisory is lifted. |
