| Details: | Salem notified DWS that due to a water mainline valve failure there was a drop in pressure and a precautionary boil water notice was put in place for the 33 affected customers along Mountain View Drive S between Hoyt Street S and Boice Street S, 285 Judson Street S, 295 and 290 Sonora Way S, and the
2300 Block of Heath Street S west of Croisan Mountain Drive S.
Once the valve is repaired, coliform samples will be taken in order to lift the precautionary boil.
Lifted 01/16/2025: Repairs have been made, pressure has been restored to the affected customers and coliform samples came back satisfactory. The system has lifted the partial boil advisory. No further actions needed. |
