| Details: | Turbidity measurements at the reservoirs were at 3.0 NTU and 4.0 NTU respectively, and measured 3.6 NTU at both the combined meter and within the distribution. Water system personnel advise these readings began at approximately 3 am this morning, and that they stopped producing water at approximately 8 am this morning. They are performing maintenance to the system and back washing their filters, and will be taking samples within the system today. Public notice will be made to the residents using a combination of door-to-door notice, media, and reverse 911 if available. The advisory will remain in effect until the turbidity levels are again below .3 and water sample results confirm the absence of coliform bacteria. Lifted 02/20/2019: Turbidity measurements are now below 0.1 NTU. The system took 6 coliform samples around the distribution system that all came back clean. Operators flushed distribution system and clearwell, and is urging customers to flush faucets for 5 minutes before using water. |
