| Details: | Gene emailed that Avion Water Company has issued a limited boil water notice to seven customers in the Sundance neighborhood southeast of Bend in the Greater Avion water system. A 4-inch PVC mainline had to be shut off to repair a leak. While water was still flowing from both directions there was a loss of water pressure. The repairs are complete, the line was flushed and samples are being collected. Avion went door to door to distribute the boil water notice. Sample results will be available tomorrow. The affected roads are: Sweetgrass Ln and Sweetgrass Dr from the intersection with Calgary Dr to the intersection with Edmonton Dr. Gene will notify me of sample results to discuss lifting notice. Lifted 02/21/2019: The samples collected yesterday were absent for coliform bacteria. The water line has been returned to service and the boil water advisory lifted. |
