| Details: | City of The Dalles (00869), serving approximately 13,000 residents in Wasco County, issued a partial boil water advisory on April 7, 2025, affecting four houses near 9th and Quinton St. At ~9:30 a.m. a contracted drilling crew struck a service main and immediately notified the city. City crews isolated the affected area, repairs were completed at ~12:00 p.m., and affected customers were issued a boil water notice before water service was restored. A bacteriological water sample was collected after repairs and brought to the accredited City of The Dalles Water Quality Lab. The sample result is anticipated by the afternoon of April 8, 2025. Lifted 04/08/2025: Coliform sample results on April 8, 2025, were satisfactory and the advisory has been lifted. |
