| Details: | During work on replacing service lines, one was broken that serves the "Old Town." Closing off the nearest valve means that ~25 homes are without water pressure. No businesses are affected. Boil advisories are being handed out door to door. Water should be restored this afternoon, but the boil advisory will remain in effect until sample results show the absence of bacteria, which may be after the weekend. Lifted 02/26/2019: Advisory was lifted this morning when sample results were absent of coliform. |
