| Details: | The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board has issued a boil water advisory due to a 2-inch main break on Sneddon Lane, which caused a total loss of pressure. The break was reportedly caused by a backhoe.
-Date/time of break: 12 PM on 6-9-2025.
-Location: Sneddon Lane 100’ East of Shinglehouse Road.
-Approximate Number of Services affected: 15 Residences. No food services, RV parks or Lodging facilities affected.
-Expected Duration: 6/9/2025 2 PM to 6-11-2025 3:00 PM.
-Notification: Direct notification to all affected customers. No language access resources needed.
-The boil order will be lifted contingent on satisfactory results from 2 consecutive days of bacteriological sampling and confirmation of normal area chlorine residuals.
Lifted 06/11/2025: The operator reported that the boil water advisory was lifted after two consecutive water lab results showing absence of bacteriological contamination. no further actions needed at this time. |
