| Details: | Marleene called to let DWS know the reservoir had run dry. The well has a history of failing to produce an adequate amount of water to meet demand in the summer. The City of Umatilla is hauling in water to refill the reservoir. Water use restrictions are in place. A boil advisory is in effect until consistent pressure is restored by use of the well and coliform samples with passing results are obtained. Lifted 08/01/2025: The well pump was replaced and pressure restored. A coliform sample collected on 7/24/25 tested absent and the chlorine residual is above the minimum required 0.4 mg/L, allowing the advisory to be lifted. |
