| Details: | At 1:14 PM today I received an email from Brandon Owen with the City of Sheridan notifying me that at around 12:45 this afternoon (7/29/25) a contractor hit and ruptured a 4-inch water line in the City of Sheridan, OR (PWS ID#00811) in Yamhill County. The City shut the line down and will be issuing a boil water notice (door hangers) to 10 service connections. There are no schools or food service connections in this boil water notice. They will be pulling one sample and taking it to the lab once the repair is done. Brandon provided a map showing the affected area in the vicinity of SW Harrison St. and SW 2nd St in Sheridan, OR.
7/29/25 Update - 1:41 pm - the broken line has been repaired and pressure restored. A sample is on the way to the lab. Lifted 07/30/2025: At 10:20 am, I was notified by Brandon Owen that the lab called to confirm the test was absent of coliform bacteria and that they were lifting the boil notice today. |
