| Details: | The operator notified DWS of a repeat EC+ in distribution collected on 8/8 following a routine EC+ collected at the same site. Upstream and downstream samples absent. Chlorine residual measured at 0.1 ppm. Triggered source samples from Springs 4 and 5 were TC+. The boil water notice is being hand-delivered to all businesses (café and
hotel) and to elderly populations, texted individually to residents, and posted in conspicuous places in Shaniko.
The Wasco County Emergency Management was contacted and will be delivering bottled water for residents. Operator advised to target higher chlorine dosage so it is noticeable at the extents of the distribution system and to contact NCPHD on Monday to discuss steps to lift advisory.
