| Details: | Received call from Marc with Avion. The Culver/Whychus creek fire caused a system wide evacuation and power outage. Avion was informed Friday and they posted/distributed a do not drink water notice at 6:30 pm 8/22 for the entire system of 214 homes until further notice. System will evaluate any damage as soon as accessible. Sent system wildfire/water system resources and incident checklist. System will also consult with OAWU.
System changed advisory to Boil Water after assessment showed no fire damage to water system components. System will flush and resample to ensure no bacteria before lifting advisory. Lifted 09/04/2025: Gene from Avion called and they took 6 follow up samples and all absent for bacteria. 3 from distribution and 3 from combine reservoirs. Ok to lift boil advisory at noon today 9/4/2025 |
