| Details: | On August 26, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m. Oceanside WD - Cape Meares water system experienced a break in the main water line, which required the operator to depressurize the line to complete the repair. The pressure was restored by 3:00 p.m.
As a safety precaution, a boil water notice has been issued to all customers.
Number of services affected: 236 connections.
Expected duration: 8-26-2025 at 11:30AM to 8-29-2025 at 6:00 PM.
Notification: Affected customers were notified through direct communication, mass emails, and the MeWe communication App.
No food service facilities were impacted.

Five water samples have been collected. The boil water advisory will be lifted once the lab results confirm absence of coliform contamination. Lifted 08/28/2025: System informed DWS staff 5 coliform samples came back TC/EC absent and they lifted the boil. Customers were informed via mall email, community notification board, removal of road signs and phone calls. |
