| Details: | Jessica from NW Natural indicated Otter Rock water district has been on a boil water notice since Monday Sept 29th for a loss of distribution system pressure. A planned pressure loss event was scheduled to occur Monday and Tuesday to replace fire hydrants, but isolation valves broke causing a loss of pressure. Pressure was restored late Tuesday evening, and the system is now flushing out any remaining air trapped in the distribution system. A coliform sample was collected today,Sept 30th, if that sample comes back absent the boil notice can be lifted. Lifted 10/02/2025: Jessica called to inform us the coliform samples came back absent and they were lifting the boil water notice. |
