| Details: | The water system experienced a water main break at 1 am on 11/13/25. The break and subsequent repairs required the water system to issue a boil advisory for approximately 40 homes. Notices were hand delivered. Repairs have been made and a special coliform sample has been collected. Results are expected by Tuesday 11/18. Update 11/20/2025: Ethan called to report that they have collected several special samples after the main line repair but they have all failed. He said they just found out today that the latest sample was positive for both total coliform and E. coli. Ethan said they are expanding the boil advisory to the entire system and notifying customers via door hangers. They are currently increasing the chlorine residual throughout the distribution. Lifted 11/25/2025: Ethan reported that there was another main line break in the same are on 11/23. Repairs were made and special samples collected. Mark called on 11/25 to report they have received good coliform results and have lifted the boil advisory and began notifying customers. |
