| Details: | Salem let me know there was a power outage that caused a loss of distribution pressure for 80 homes in south Salem (served by the Upper Croisan Mountain Water Pump Station). They have issued a precautionary boil advisory for these homes and have notified them via door hangers. Once pressure is restored, Salem will take follow up coliform samples to determine if the boil advisory can be lifted. Lifted 01/22/2026: Salem let me know that coliform samples came back satisfactory and have notified customers of the lifted boil water advisory. |
