| Details: | Due to a main break and subsequent loss of pressure, ~300 Crystal Springs Water District customers north of Van Horn Drive are under a precautionary boil water notice. Repairs are underway and service will ly be restored today (February 4, 2026, or tomorrow, February 5, 2026), but the boil water notice will remain in place until acceptable microbiological coliform sampling results are obtained. Sampling results are expected February 5th or 6th, 2026.
Hood River County emergency management has been contacted and affected customers have been notified by reverse 911 and social media, and all major employers have been contacted. This advisory will be d when the advisory has been lifted. Lifted 02/05/2026: Post-repair coliform sampling result/s were acceptable and the boil water advisory has been lifted effective 1 p.m. 2/5/2026. |
