| Details: | I received a call at about 9:25 am on 2/26/26 and a follow-up email that a line break caused a drop in pressure. The City is issuing a boil water notice to 37 connections, including the public library. The area affected includes primarily services along Yamhill St. between Florence St. and Bridge St. in Sheridan. No food service establishments or schools are affected. The gas station in this vicinity is also not affected. Update 02/26/2026: 11:09 AM Update - The break has been repaired and pressure restored. A coliform sample was taken at 341 NW Yamhill St and delivered to the lab today (2-26-26). Lifted 02/27/2026: at 12:42 PM, Brandon Owings let me know that the coliform results were absent of bacteria and they are lifting the boil water advisory. |
