| Details: | Avion WC – Greater Avion (PWS #00091), a groundwater system with a population of 32,265 and 12,906 service connections in Deschutes County, issued a partial boil water advisory on 3/4/2026 affecting ~20 residential connections, including a childcare/school facility (which will be provided with bottled water). A main break in a cattle pasture resulted in a loss of pressure. The leak was isolated, repaired, and water pressure restored quickly. Impacted customers were notified and additional details have been posted on Avion WC – Greater Avion’s website. The system flushed the main and collected bacteriological samples late 3/5/2026. Sample results are anticipated by 3/6/2026. The boil water advisory will remain in place until satisfactory sampling results are obtained, at which time the advisory will be lifted and this advisory. Lifted 03/06/2026: The Erickson Rd boil notice has been lifted after receipt of satisfactory coliform sampling results. |
