| Details: | Mordhost reports that the East booster station failed last night and that pressure dropped below 20 psi at 4:18 this morning. The booster was returned to service and pressure was restored at 5:06 am. Residents are being notified via electronic messaging, social media and the city’s website. They are also seeking assistance from law enforcement to utilize reverse 911 notifications. Samples will be submitted as soon as their laboratory opens tomorrow morning, and the boil order will remain in effect until lab analyses indicates that the water is safe to drink. Lifted 03/24/2026: Update 3/24/26 - All five bacteria samples collected after the pump controls were repaired and pressure restored tested absent for bacteria, allowing the boil advisory to be lifted. Notice of lifting the advisory is being distributed by social media, reverse 911, the citys web site, and hand delivery to affected businesses. |
