| Details: | System reached out to DWS staff stating at approximately 10:45 a.m. on March 26, a pipe became disconnected from the main while a fire hydrant was being removed for an curb ramp project, resulting in a loss of pressure. Consequently, water service was shut down to prevent damage, and 10 connections were placed under an boil water advisory. Affected connections included Banks Public Library, City Hall, Public Works, and seven nearby residential services. Consumers at impacted connections were notified of the boil advisory via door tag and called from City Hall. Water was restored around 1:45 p.m. on 3/26/26, and was followed by system flushing and sampling. Coliform samples were then sent to the lab, and the boil advisory will remain in effect until clean results are confirmed. |
