| Details: | Chris notified me that he issued a system-wide boil water notice today due to a broken water main that drained the system. Once the pipe is repaired, system flushed, and chlorine residual restored, he will collect some coliform samples and consult with DWS in order to lift the boil notice. Lifted 08/04/2017: Chris called at 3 pm on 8/4, that the system has repaired the broken water main, flushed the distribution system, ensured a adequate chlorine residual in the system, and obtained an absent coliform bacteria sample. Given that the system has followed DWS BMPs for service outages, Timber may lift the boil water notice. System will notify customers door to door of the lifting of the notice and to flush their household plumbing. |
