| Details: | The operator informed me that On April 22, the city of Port Orford issued a boil water advisory due to a total loss of pressure caused by a mechanical pump failure. The interruption in the service affected approximately 9 customers on Deady Street.
Customer notification: All affected customers were notified on April 21, 2026.
Licensed facilities: No food service facilities, hotels or RV parks affected.
Language Access: No alternative language materials were required for this service area.
Current status: Repairs have been completed and system pressure has been restored. Water samples have been collected. The advisory remains in effect until lab results confirm the absence of bacterial contamination.
Lab results are expected by April 25, 2026.
Lifted 04/24/2026: Operator reported that water test results came back showing absence of coliform contamination. The boil water advisory has been lifted. All customers notified. No further actions needed at this time. |
