The shutdowns are required in order to make connections to new distribution piping that has been installed. Impacted parties will be notified of the boil water notice via door hangers. The scheduled waterline shutdowns are as follows: Monday 7/22 Santiam St, Deer St, Clester St, Erin St impacting 1 commercial establishment (the Marina) and about 40 residential connections. Tuesday 7/23 Clester, Erin, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Patton N, Detroit Ave N impacting 3 commercial establishments (Marina, store, restaurant) and about 40 residential connections. Coliform samples will be collected Wed. 7/24 for the work done on Wed. with results expected Thurs. 7/25 to lift the boil for that area.

Lifted 07/26/2019:  Bob reported that the initial sample collected Tuesday for the work done Monday and Tuesday came back positive for total coliform. The sampler reported water dripped from his hand into the bottle which may be the cause. More samples (including the original positive site) were collected Wednesday and on Thursday, the lab reported that they were all absent so the boil notice was lifted for the locations were work was done on Monday and Tuesday. A sample was collected Thursday for the area the work was done Wednesday and that result was absent so the boil for that area is lifted today, Friday. All boil notices have been lifted for the system.
