| Details: | On July 20, Ms. Prestwich emailed me stating that the lab confirmed repeat sample is EC+. The operator is currently shocking the tanks and passing out water and have called Bandon Well to inspect the system. Lifted 07/27/2019: Lab results for a triggered confirmation samples at SRC-BA were negative for coliform. [On 7/19, a triggered sample was mistakenly collected from the disconnected SRC-AA. But the 7/23 and 7/24 source samples are from the active source, BA.] A few days after the system had shock chlorinated the tanks and distribution, a special sample was collected from distribution lines on 7/23. This sample was negative, but the chlorine level was still quite elevated that day. By Friday 7/26, chlorine could no longer be smelled in the water (though no chlorine test kit). Betsy Parry of DWS communicated with system owner on Monday 7/29 to make sure they collect another distribution sample now that conditions have returned to normal (zero chlorine). |
