Details: | I received a complaint from a tenant who lives at this mobile home park yesterday, 8/14/19. His claim is that they have had very little water pressure for the last month. His description of the problem is that when the faucet is turned on it will run water at a regular rate for a few moments and then reduce down to nothing. He states that there is not enough water to take a shower. I contacted the property manager yesterday after I spoke with the complainant. She denies receiving these voice messages. She states that she lives at this property and has had no pressure issues at her residence. This morning I met with the complainant and was able to witness this situation first hand. At the kitchen sink and bath faucet, water would initially come out under good pressure and over a few minutes reduce down to a trickle. I estimated the end pressure at 2 – 5 psi. I discuss this situation with the property manager who agrees to post a Do Not Drink Boil Water Notice due to loss of pressure, until this situation can be resolved. The property manager will be meeting with each resident in the next few days to discover what spaces have had a loss of pressure. A pump company has been scheduled to come out to this system and assist with troubleshooting. Lifted 09/16/2019: The operator for this system submitted a distribution and source sample result that were absent of coliform. Water continues to be hauled to meet the residential demand. |
