| Details: | Fred notified me through Ian Stromquist with Hood River County Environmental Health that a break on a main line caused a loss of positive pressure for approximately 600 connections south of Neal Creek Road in Odell. The District is issuing a partial boil water notice for loss of positive pressure to this localized area through posting door hangers today. Boil water notification materials and best management practices for reduced pressure events have been provided to Crystal Springs. District to notify DWS when coliform sample results are received after break repaired, pressure and chlorine residuals restored, and prior to lifting the boil water notice. 9/14/17: System-wide boil - low Booth Hill tank level. Lifted 09/15/2017: 9/18/17 Update: Spoke to Fred this morning. District received coliform absent results from several bacteria samples collected throughout the system late on Friday 9/15/17, and notified the State and County at that time, that the system boil water advisory was going to be lifted. System repaired main, restored pressure system wide, flushed system, ensured a minimum chlorine residual system wide, and then collected the coliform bacteria samples. |
