| Details: | Mariah Lewchuk (employee with Douglas County) spoke with Calla Mosczynski (Parks Coordinator) on 9/30/19 at 9:30 AM in response to e-coli alert. Calla reports that her department is aware of the alert and believes the source of contamination is the below ground storage tank. Calla reports that concerns at Mildred Kanipe Park were not a priority to fix previously but that they will be looking into possible solutions. No timeline established on long-term corrective action Operator is aware that 3 additional samples are required in response to the alert.
Boil Water Advisory was completed and submitted to Douglas County Environmental Health Staff (email sent to Rebecca Templin to verify the state received a copy). Lifted 11/20/2019: Switch to fill reservoir and leaking water line into reservoir were repaired. November 4th RT coliform sample was negative. |
