| Details: | Joey called at 3:30 p.m. about a negative water pressure event today while a contractor was completing a tie-in on a water main affecting about 20 to 40 residential customers. No businesses were affected by the outage. Staff are going door-to-door with the boil water advisory to notify customers. Waterlines are being flushed followed by coliform sampling. Sample results will be available tomorrow to determine if advisory can be lifted. Lifted 12/31/2019: I received an email today from the District Superintendent Andy Crocker that sample results collected yesterday were coliform absent. The boil water advisory is being lifted. Staff are going door-to-door to notify customers with instructions to flush premise plumbing as a precaution. |
