| Details: | Spoke with Matt on March 4th about a loss of pressure event that occurred the day before. A contractor pressure testing a water line did not close a valve completely. There were 25 connections affected. Staff went door-to-door notifying customers and provide bottled water during outage. The valve was located and closed off. The affected area was flushed for an hour and two coliform samples were collected. Sample results should be available by 4 p.m. today. If results are absent, staff will go door-to-door to inform customers the advisory was lifted and to flush premise piping. Lifted 03/05/2020: Matt emailed that the two coliform samples collected on March 3rd were absent. Chlorine residual not reported on lab report was measured at 0.5 mg/L. The advisory was lifted and affected customers have been notified. No further action. |
