| Details: | Spoke to Paul about the E.coli positive repeat samples in the distribution system. System has had ongoing Total Coliform issues for years, this is the first time theyve had E.coli. Paul has decided to connect to the City of Sweet Home. Hes working with the city currently and trying to find a contractor to do the work. In the interim he plans on shocking the well and storage tank over night tonight. All customers notified today and will be receiving the Boil Notice as well. Paul will take 2 special samples from the distribution system as well as another source sample. If those results are non-detect we will take down the Boil Notice. Paul will continue to sample monthly until he is connected to the City of Sweet Home. Update 11/03/2017: 11/2/17 Paul is working with a plumber and the City to try and get hooked to the City of Sweet Home ASAP. They have shocked the well and tank and are planning on taking 2 samples in distribution and one from the well next Tuesday November 7, 2017. If samples are all absent he will lift the Boil Advisory and continue sampling monthly until they are connected to the City of Sweet Home. Lifted 11/13/2017: System took 3 distribution samples and all came back ND. One at the source still positive for TC. The plan is to still connect to the City of Sweet Home, owner is waiting for timeline from the plumber. |
