| Details: | Early Wednesday morning, TVWD experienced a water main break in the area of SW Rosa Road and SW 187th Place. As crews repaired the initial break, multiple other breaks occurred along the same water main and resulted in around 40 customers being without water service since early Wednesday morning. Affected customers are being advised to boil their water and were notified via door hangers. Last night TVWD provided bottled drinking water, extra water to refill toilets tank for flushing and access to shower facilities through Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation. Today, a temporary over-ground water line was installed that will provide water service to homes until a portion of the water main is replaced. Lifted 10/27/2017: All special coliform samples collected 10/26/17 were absent for coliform and the boil water advisory has been lifted. All 40 homes affected have been contacted directly and TVWD is updating it’s website. Crews will continue to install the new main line through the weekend. |
