| Details: | Karen called to inform me that a cable company has cut through one of their service lines and in order to repair it they had to shut down the water system. The water is expected to be off for 2 hours or so. I emailed Karen a copy of the boil water public notice template. She plans to deliver the notice via door hangers and also send an email notice to customers. Once pressure is restored Karen will collect coliform samples and provide the lab results to me. Update 04/15/2020: Karen contacted me at 3 PM to report the water has been turned back on and everyone has been notified either by email or notice taped to their door. Karen called everyone that does not have an email about the boil notice. Water samples are being collected and Karen will notify me of the results when they are available. Lifted 04/17/2020: Karen contacted me to report all of the coliform samples came back clean. The boil water advisory is lifted. She will be contacting all customers to inform them. |
