Details: | Licensed restaurant/tavern is only connection to well. Spoke with operator and she was aware of the boil water notice. They are contacting a well company to shock chlorinate the well and evaluate the system. I will be scheduling a L2 coliform investigation with water operator. Will continue to work with the WS as needed until the advisory can be lifted. Update 06/27/2018: Spoke with Tony on the phone. Repeat and source samples collected 6/26 were all +TC (alert id COLI17921). Boil water advisory remains. Tony has posted the public notice. He said they were going to do a second round of shock chlorination overnight and then re-sample. Lifted 07/11/2018: All 3 samples taken on 6/29 and all three samples from 7/2 were absent for EC and TC. I called Tony and informed him the boil advisory was lifted. I emailed a copy of his public notice to DMCE. The UV system was repaired, carbon filter replaced and well and distribution chlorinated and flushed. I will be conducting and onsite L2 investigation next week. |
